FAQ
What makes you the UK's most authentic New Orleans Brass Band?

In New Orleans, music is spontaneous, vibrant, and full of energy. We capture this essence by allowing our musicians the same freedom of expression that makes New Orleans music so exciting. No two performances are ever the same, and each band member has their own unique voice within the group.

We had the privilege of spending a couple of weeks in 2018 with Keith Fraizer, founder of the iconic Rebirth Brass Band. Keith shared invaluable insights into the history and evolution of New Orleans brass bands and helped us refine our rhythm section. Our two-man marching drum setup and tuba create powerful grooves that capture the true spirit of New Orleans. When you hear the rhythm section coming, you know it's Heavy Beat.
